Northstar did not restore the contract.

Evan soon resigned from TerraGrid’s board and threw himself into GridForge’s debt restructuring.

Before he left, he had a shouting match with Travis outside the conference room.

Marissa had been nearby with her team and heard them through the glass.

“If you hadn’t kept indulging Jenna, the company wouldn’t be in this mess!” Evan had shouted.

Travis had thrown a stack of papers to the floor.

“You built GridForge by piggybacking on TerraGrid! Don’t pin your choices on me.”

I had the system add his address to my block list.

His failure was not my creation, nor did it need my satisfaction to be complete.

That same day, TerraGrid’s new management approved two replacement suppliers.

Production and Lakecrest’s energy supply continued without interruption. The employees did not lose their jobs.

The last excuse he might have used to accuse me vanished with it.
