My Guardian Married My Sister But I’m His Alpha Chapter 30

Sterling looked at Chiara for a long moment.

Then he pulled the keys from the ignition, got out, and came around to open her door.

“You can decide for yourself who’s telling the truth.”

He looked down at her, his expression serious.

“But I’ll tell you one thing. Your father’s deal wasn’t for Nightfall.”

“He wanted me to swear an Alpha’s oath that no matter what happened, I would keep you safe.”

Chiara froze.

“He offered a subsidiary and three overseas trade routes in exchange for a guarantee. For you.”

“He must have already suspected that something was going to happen to him.”

Standing beside the car, Chiara felt a chill seep into her bones.

What her father had been negotiating wasn’t the company’s future.

It was her safety. Her way out.

“Griffin knows about this,” Sterling said. “He was afraid I had something your father left for you.”

He paused. “As for why he didn’t tell you… that was his choice. Not mine.”

Then he got back in the car and drove away.
