She Framed Me As Unfit So I’ll See Her In Court Chapter 28
Two days later, my lawyer sent the latest developments to my email.
Beth Ron had signed a sworn remorse statement as a tainted witness, admitting to the framing and false statements. In exchange, she was required to complete a court-ordered parenting course, and the District Attorney’s Office had decided not to prosecute.
Sloan had not been so lucky.
After the temporary protective order took effect, she had one parent pass along a message asking me to “resolve things privately.” The judge ruled that this constituted indirect contact and issued a serious warning. Multiple civil claims arising from the address leak, the fake ad, and the school framing were also continuing to move forward.
At the end, my lawyer wrote: “The District Attorney’s Office has opened a charging review on subornation of false statements and child endangerment.”
I calmly scrolled to the next page.
The chats showed that Caleb had known from the beginning and had supported Sloan continuing to report me. Because of that, the custody evaluator had listed him as a high-risk party “detrimental to the child’s development,” and his unsupervised visitation rights were suspended indefinitely.
As for the records showing that he froze Sloan’s accounts and threatened her with their child, those had already been formally archived by the domestic violence support agency and would affect all of his future family-related legal matters.
I closed the email without celebrating.
Everything they had done now had a corresponding name, number, and consequence.
And at last, I could stop staring at them and go back to living my own life.
