She Framed Me As Unfit So I’ll See Her In Court Chapter 44
Both factual corrections went live on the same day.
The account where Sloan had once livestreamed “Pray for Maya” pinned the correction she had signed. Caleb, for his part, publicly admitted on the community forum and in the parents’ groups that, even knowing the police were already involved, he had still demanded that I stop reporting.
At first, the comments were unnaturally quiet.
Then those familiar profile pictures began appearing again.
“I knew something was off from the start.”
“Thank goodness the truth came out.”
“Nia is really so strong.”
I didn’t like any of it.
I didn’t reply, either.
My lawyer asked whether I wanted to make a statement.
“No.”
Everything that needed saying was already in the court rulings, the police case numbers, and the school correction.
My innocence no longer needed a tearful public post to be granted permission to exist.
I opened the old computer.
“01 – Online Harassment and Information Leak.”
“02 – School Framing Incident.”
“03 – Fake Advertisement and Physical Threat.”
“04 – Sloan’s Livestream.”
“05 – Potential Witnesses and Group Chat Leads.”
At the end, I created one more folder.
“06 – Final Orders.”
The custody ruling, the long-term protective order, the school correction, the compensation agreement, and the criminal judgments were placed inside, one by one.
When the progress bar reached the end, I did one last cloud backup.
Then I pulled out the USB drive and locked it in the drawer.
I didn’t delete anything.
But I also stopped opening it every day.
The evidence had guarded my past for me.
From today on, what I needed to guard was my own life.
