She Stole My Fiancé So I Married The Prince Chapter 13

My father had aged terribly.

He needed Isabella’s support just to stand upright.

In my previous life, with me there to care for him, he had never fallen so far.

The year I died, he had even looked stronger than I did.

This time, without me, he needed help just to make it down the steps.

My mother kept staring at the convoy.

The moment I rolled down the window, she rushed to the car and reached out to touch my face.

“Camille, I think about you every day.”

“Why have you gotten so thin? Do you not have enough money?”

“Mom knows she was wrong. I’ve had the Alpha residence renovated again, and I had a climate-controlled suite built for you, too. One for you and one for Isabella. I absolutely won’t play favorites anymore.”

At those words, Isabella’s eyes filled with jealousy, but she still forced a smile at me.

“That’s right. If you come back to the capital, you’ll need to stay at Westvale.”

“You may have held a ceremony with Prince Rowan on the frontier, but that marriage was never publicly recognized by the royal family. You won’t be able to move into his Royal Castle residence anytime soon.”

“Who knows if the Royal Council will even accept you.”

My father’s expression darkened.

He shouted at the car door, “How long are you going to keep putting on airs? Get out of the car at once!”
