The Annoying Sleepwalker Chapter 17

The Annoying Sleepwalker Chapter 17

Last time, she had been exactly like this.

Crying in front of everyone as if she were helpless, while behind the scenes, all she wanted was to sabotage me.

Blair sifted through the empty boxes.

When she found nothing of value, she seemed to lose control.

She swept the old papers off the desk in one violent motion.

Pages scattered across the floor.

The pen cup rolled away and hit the leg of a chair.

Then she stomped on it. Twice.

At that moment, the light came on.

Tessa sat up in bed, her voice shaking.

“Blair, what are you doing?”

Mallory grabbed her phone immediately.

“I’m calling the overnight staff.”

Blair’s entire body went rigid.

Then she squeezed her eyes shut and swayed, grabbing the edge of the desk for support.

“Did I… sleepwalk again?”

If I hadn’t just seen her with my own eyes, searching for the camera—

I might have actually been fooled.

I got out of bed, picked up my phone, and opened the live feed.

“Blair, what did you just call me?”

Her face went white.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. I wasn’t conscious.”

Tessa was so angry her voice went shrill.

“You weren’t conscious, but you knew how to step around my backpack?”

Mallory gave a cold laugh.

“And you knew how to open a folder with Brigid’s name on it?”

Blair started crying.

“You’re all trying to frame me.”

“I really don’t know…”

The overnight dorm staff arrived quickly.

A faculty member on duty came with them.

The moment they saw the mess all over the room, the staff member’s face darkened.

“This room again?”

Mallory thrust her phone at them.

“She was pretending to sleepwalk. We have it on camera.”

Blair lunged for the phone.

“Don’t watch that! You’re violating my privacy!”

I stepped in front of her.

“The camera only records my desk.”

“We announced it in the group chat beforehand, and Housing approved it.”
