The Fourth Life She Guarded Me Chapter 35
She looked at me blankly.
“A potion.”
She shook the spatial bag in her hand.
“Isn’t this the bag you’ve been drinking from?”
I snatched it from her, poured out the last two bottles, and smelled them carefully.
“Damn it.”
“What?”
“These aren’t life force restoration potions.”
“What?”
Even she froze.
“None of them?”
“None.”
“Useless.”
She grabbed the two bottles and casually threw them away.
Then she pulled out another spatial bag.
“It’s fine. There are plenty more here. There has to be a recovery potion somewhere—”
“That’s not the problem!”
My whole body was already burning.
I grabbed her clothes.
“Paloma, what you just fed me was an aphrodisiac.”
“…So what?”
She still didn’t see the problem and lowered her head to keep rummaging through the bags.
“See if these are recovery potions. What’s wrong with you?”
I yanked open her collar.
At the same time, I dragged open my own clothes and pressed myself against her.
She frowned and tried to push me away.
“I’m talking to you. Check this bag first—”
I was so furious tears sprang to my eyes.
“I can’t check anything right now! That was a top-grade aphrodisiac made by a high-level alchemist. I feel awful. How am I supposed to care about any of this?”
She blinked.
“You feel awful?”
Her gaze ran over me from top to bottom.
“What feels awful?”
I was panting, tears slipping down my face.
She leaned over to lick them.
“Huh. It tastes a little good again.”
Her voice held obvious delight, and she pulled me into her arms and started licking at the corners of my eyes over and over.
The moment she held me, my whole body reacted even more violently.
I trembled uncontrollably.
All I could hear was her voice in my ear.
“Hm? Why does it taste even better now? How did you do that?”
My fingers dug hard into her shoulder.
“Paloma, you…”
“What?”
My mind had already stopped working.
The words coming from my mouth were nothing like what I would normally say.
“Paloma, the things that come from my body… tears, blood… they all taste good.”
She was still licking at the tears forced out by the heat coursing through me.
Her tone remained casual.
“Yes, I know.”
“Actually, there’s something else, too.”
“What?”
I leaned against the thick branch, panting so hard I could barely breathe.
Then, little by little, I pressed her downward.
