The Prince Let Me Die Now He Begs For My Love Chapter 15
After I got home, I fell ill.
While I drifted in and out of sleep, I kept dreaming of my previous life.
Adrian had gotten drunk in Evelyn’s royal suite.
Deep in the night, he broke into my bedroom, grabbed the back of my neck, and pinned me against the headboard.
“Was it you or not?”
By then, his punishments had terrified me so badly that I no longer dared admit the truth.
Shaking all over, I could only keep shaking my head.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Adrian shut his eyes, looking as if his own wolf were about to tear him apart.
“It wasn’t Evelyn, and you refuse to admit it.”
“Then who was she?”
“Where have you hidden her?”
The dream scene changed suddenly.
I was back in the Crown Prince’s castle wing.
Smiling, Adrian fastened a silver-locked restraint around my ankle.
Silver blocked a werewolf’s power. I couldn’t shift, and I couldn’t heal quickly.
With his injured, bleeding hand, he covered my mouth so I couldn’t call for help.
“This is the price for deceiving me.”
“You want to marry Gavin? Then I’ll kill him first.”
I woke with a jolt.
My heart was pounding, my back soaked in cold sweat.
A warm, dry hand pressed against my forehead.
Gavin sat by my bed, looking at me with concern.
“Are you all right?”
Before he could finish, I threw myself at him and wrapped my arms around his neck.
