The hospital’s surveillance cameras had audio recording functions. In fact, as early as when Jaylen ordered his men to drag Cyenne over, he had already checked the footage and listened to Cyenne’s outrageous remarks from last night.
“Cyenne, I’m giving you one last chance.” Jaylen said, forcing down his anger. “Tell me honestly, what exactly did you say to Sera last night?”
Cyenne’s eyes reddened, and she looked about to cry again, but before any tears could fall, Jaylen warned her coldly, “Think carefully before you speak. If you lie again this time, I will never go easy on you.”
Cyenne bit her lip, looking even more wronged. “Jay, how could I possibly lie to you? Ever since we were little, you’re the only one who has always doted on me and protected me…”
Before Cyenne could finish, Jaylen kicked over the table in front of him. “Cyenne, so you do know that all these years, I’ve been the one doting on you and protecting you!”
The table he sent flying slammed straight toward Cyenne. She had no time to dodge and took the full blow.
She instantly cried even harder. “Jay, I wasn’t lying. I really wasn’t lying…”
Seeing that she stubbornly refused to admit it, Jaylen directly ordered with a cold expression, “Someone, play the surveillance footage!”
At his command, his men immediately brought in a projector.

Cyenne had been lying! Everything she said last night had been deliberately made up to provoke Seraphina!

“Cyenne, you’d better pray that Sera is safe. Otherwise, I’ll make sure that for the rest of your life, you can neither live nor die in peace!”
With that, Jaylen ordered his men to drag Cyenne away and lock her up.
Although he was on the verge of losing his mind with rage, now was not the time to punish Cyenne.
The top priority now was to find Seraphina.
Once he found Seraphina, he would make Cyenne pay the price she deserved for everything she had done over the years, right in front of Seraphina.
“Someone, gather all the men immediately and lock down the entire city to search for Seraphina’s whereabouts.” Jaylen ordered coldly. “I don’t care what methods you use. Before nightfall, I want to see Seraphina!”
