I Was The Perfect Queen But He Forgot My Name Chapter 38

I left the castle with Martin but didn’t return to the estate immediately.

Once the car was parked in a quiet underground garage, I told the driver and Tessa to wait outside.

“Who is Rowan Fraser?”

Martin’s easygoing expression vanished.

“Where did you hear that name?”

“He told me himself.”

The old man was silent for a long time before sighing.

“So he finally couldn’t keep pretending.”

Rowan was also the biological son of King Arthur and Luna Queen Evelyn.

Back then, Evelyn had given birth to twins. The older was Julian. The younger was Rowan, born only half an hour later.

The kingdom had just emerged from a succession war. The Royal Council feared nothing more than two heirs whose appearances, scents, and bloodlines were nearly identical. They were prepared to take the second child by force, permanently cutting him out of the succession.

Evelyn, terrified of losing her position as Luna Queen and of both children becoming pawns for rival factions, told everyone the second son had died at birth.

Only she and Martin, who had been on duty, knew the truth.

She did not kill Rowan.

Instead, she secretly entrusted the infant to Martin to raise.
