“You kicked Claire, then claimed your heart hurt after Noah pushed you.”
“Who taught you that?”

“She’s a child. Claire was the one who started all of this—”
“Don’t say another word about Claire.”
Ethan pulled away.
“It’s over, Vanessa.”
