My Guardian Married My Sister But I’m His Alpha Chapter 58

“You don’t have to forgive him,” he said. “And you don’t have to choose him because of what he sacrificed. But you should at least hear him out.”

He set the keys on a nearby cabinet and stepped back.

“Ironwood’s protection still stands. The rest is between you and him.”

Chiara went downstairs and pushed open the heavy front door.

At the sound, Griffin turned.

The morning sun backlit his figure.

He still looked exhausted, the faint redness in his eyes not quite gone, but the way he looked at her was different.

This time, there was no evasion, no circling.

He consciously lowered his Alpha pressure and took a half step back, giving her space.

“Get in,” he said. “If you want to.”

Chiara opened the car door.

They drove into the morning traffic in silence.

After several blocks, Griffin finally spoke.

“Three years ago, Anthony wanted to use Francesca to seize Nightfall’s voting power. Your dad refused, so he started bribing the smaller families and the people in the Pack warehouse.”

“Your dad found records of his wolfsbane purchases and was preparing to submit them to the Council.”

Griffin’s fingers tightened on the steering wheel.

“Anthony bribed a construction worker to lace your dad’s coffee with wolfsbane and tamper with the support rigging on the site. With the poison in his system, he couldn’t heal.”

The light turned green.

The car moved forward.

He didn’t say the rest.

He didn’t have to.

At the entrance to the Inter-Pack Council tribunal, two Council Guardians and a human police liaison were already waiting.

Griffin parked and handed the document case to Chiara.

“Your dad’s evidence is in there, along with the bank transfers, warehouse records, and witness statements I’ve gathered since.”

“Anthony is already in custody. But to unseal a former Alpha’s files, we need a direct blood descendant.”

When he said her name, his throat worked.

“Chiara.”

“Once you go inside, Anthony will lose his Council seat and his Pack protection. The criminal case will be reopened.”

“But before that, there’s something I need to tell you.”
