Reborn Before My Captain Fiancé’s Beloved Dies In A Plane Crash Chapter 14

After my child’s memorial, I flew to Europe.

I changed my number, wanting a clean break from the past.

But Archer seemed to have suddenly remembered the person he was before he turned eighteen.

To get my address, he locked himself in the chapel at the Bellini family estate for three days, refusing to come out.

Mr. Bellini beat him senseless for it.

In the end, it was Mrs. Bellini who softened and gave him a vague address.

Archer clung to it like a lifeline.

With only that sliver of information, he went door to door, asking for me.

At one point, he was nearly reported to the police as a suspicious person.

Patrol officers even tailed him for a while.

Finally, after searching for two weeks, just before he was about to be deported, he knocked on my door.

I was in the living room, reading.

The housekeeper answered.

“Hello, I’m looking for Elara.”

Archer’s voice was terribly hoarse.

He had lost weight, and his eyes were hollow with regret.

I looked up at him and said flatly, “I already submitted the divorce petition to the court. It just needs your signature.”

My words were a blade. Archer forced a strained, ugly smile.
