Reborn Before My Captain Fiancé’s Beloved Dies In A Plane Crash Chapter 26
Archer’s full statement was soon submitted to the accident investigation department.
It matched the flight data recorder, the passenger video, and Leo’s report perfectly.
I didn’t attend the final hearing.
Leo sent me a message afterward.
Archer’s pilot’s license had been permanently revoked.
The airline had formally severed all ties with him.
Passengers from the flight had also filed compensation claims based on the final accident report.
Mr. Bellini made no attempt to suppress any of it.
On the contrary, he publicly stripped Archer of all his roles within the family company.
The Bellini heir who had once paraded Chloe around town had been erased from the line of succession.
“He has to become someone who takes responsibility for his actions before he has the right to ask for anything else,” Mr. Bellini told me.
I offered no comment.
Status, money, and a pilot’s license couldn’t bring back my child.
A few days later, Mrs. Bellini came to see me alone.
She no longer called me her daughter.
She simply sat down and took out a written statement.
It detailed everything—how she had obtained the drugs from a doctor and put them in Archer’s drink.
She had already given a copy to her lawyer.
“Elara, I always told myself I was helping you two see your true feelings.”
“Only recently did I dare to admit that it was never for your own good.”
Her voice shook.
“I made decisions for both of you. And you were the one who was hurt the most.”
I looked at her.
“You drugged Archer, too.”
