I Gave The Prince To My Sister And Found My True Mate Chapter 16

The two documents directly contradicted each other.

The only thing left that could decide the outcome was my consent.

As soon as Mother finished reading them, her face went white.

“How could this happen? I clearly told Queen Eleanor that Audrey would accept only private companion status and let Rosalie become the official wife.”

Father gripped the tablet so tightly his knuckles turned white.

He stared at me.

“You already knew Caleb would go straight to King Cedric.”

I met his gaze calmly.

“I told you from the beginning. I don’t want to marry Lucian.”

“Then why didn’t you tell us Caleb would apply for top-level transfer approval?”

“I told you I was going to marry him.”

I smiled faintly.

“It’s just that you never listen when I speak.”

Father’s face turned ashen with anger.

Rosalie sat on the other end of the sofa and said nothing.

Just then, the sound of a vehicle pulling into the drive came from outside.

Caleb had arrived.

He wore the black ceremonial uniform decorated with the medal King Cedric had just awarded him. After stepping out of the car, he strode into the Alpha’s residence.

He did not look at Father. He did not look at Mother. He did not look at Rosalie.

He walked straight to me and dropped to one knee.

“Audrey Porter.”

I looked down at him, and suddenly my eyes burned.

“King Cedric has approved your Pack transfer and our marriage registration.”

Caleb held up the document stamped with the royal electronic seal for me to see.

“Will you marry me tomorrow?”
