If Your Heart Doesn’t Lean Towards Me I Don’t Want It Chapter 15
Tessa’s words came out in a vicious rush.
“You loved being tangled up with your ex, didn’t you?”
“When did you ever really say no to me? You couldn’t get over the fact that I was the one who dumped you, and now you’re standing here pretending to have regrets?”
The more she spoke, the more unhinged she became.
“Coralie lost her baby, and I’m going to prison, but you should be in there with me!”
“You’re the reason she lost that baby! Ellis Lombardi, don’t you dare think you can walk away from this clean!”
Ellis snapped.
“Shut up!”
“I won’t!”
Tessa was screaming now.
The bailiff stepped forward and began to lead her away.
Even as they escorted her out, she kept twisting around to shout at him.
“Ellis Lombardi, you’re disgusting! You’re even more disgusting than I am!”
Neither Lucian nor I had any desire to watch the rest of the spectacle. We stood to leave.
But Ellis rushed over, blocking my path.
It had only been a month, but he’d lost a shocking amount of weight and looked utterly broken.
“Coralie, I know I was wrong. I really do. Please, just forgive me.”
I looked at him, my voice cold.
“Move.”
Ellis didn’t budge.
“No.”
“Coralie, I can’t live without you. Tessa’s in prison. I’ll never contact her again, I swear—”
